Tom Quinn, nominated for Deacon
Tom is married to Virginia and they have three kids: TJ (9), Milo (7), and Mary Kate (4). They first attended TCPC when they moved to Stuart from Michigan in September of 2019, and they have pretty much attended TCPC ever since. Tom is a CPA, working for a private company as their controller. When not working, he really enjoying coaching the boys in baseball. As a family they enjoy playing sports, going to the beach, gardening, and family movie nights.
Scott Reinhardt, nominated for Deacon
Scott met Karen when they were in high school in 1979. They got married July 1985. They have three grown boys and four grandchildren (with another on the way). Scott recently retired from FPL where he worked as a Reactor Operator for 34 years. They have live in Palm City for the past 26 years. Now that he is retired, Scott loves working at the church, fishing, attending car shows, and traveling with Karen. They have attended TCPC for almost 5 years.
David Nunes, nominated for Ruling Elder
David and Bev Nunes are originally from Jamaica, having met at a church dinner in Miami. This May they celebrate their 37th wedding anniversary. Together they have a married daughter, Brittany, who lives in Pueblo, Colorado with her husband, Shane, along with their 4-year-old daughter, Ayla, who brings so much joy and laughter to all the family. David and Bev moved from Miami to Stuart at the end of 2018 and started
attending TCPC in 2020. David works in the employee benefits and managed care reinsurance field and enjoys traveling with his family, reading and history. Both he and Bev have served in hospitality, outreach, discipleship and evangelism ministries, as well as hosting Bible studies in their previous churches. David attended the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the Université de Franche-Comté in Besançon, France, where he majored in Spanish and French.
Joe White, nominated for Deacon
Joe and his wife Joy have been married for 38 years and have three children - Anthony, Ryan, and Christin, and one grandson, Luca. Joe is a life-long resident of Stuart and met Joy at Martin County High School after she moved to the area in 1975. They have been attending TCPC for about four and half years. In previous churches, they were active in youth group, children's Sunday School classes, and praise band. joe also previously served as a deacon.
Joe has a 39 year career in banking, primarily in commercial banking and commercial real estate credit. Joy was also in banking for 30 years before transitioning to a 9 year career at Chick-fil-a. She is now retired. Joe and joy together share a love for running and walking.
Elton Herrick, nominated for Deacon
Elton and Susan have been married for 43 years and have served in various roles and churches in Orlando, Illinois, and Utah. They retired to the Treasure Coast in 2018. Susan helps to lead one of our ladies Bible study groups. When not visiting their children and grandchildren, Elton enjoys golfing.
