A message from Pastor Rob:

For the past 25 years, I've read through the whole Bible each year.  I've made my own Bible reading plan that had me reading a few chapters from the Old Testament, one chapter from the New Testament, and one Psalm or chapter of Proverbs each day.  I change the order of the books each year, mixing up which Old Testament books get paired with which New Testament books, helping me see new connections I never noticed before.  This is not a Bible study plan; it's a plan to give a big-picture view of the whole Bible. This year, after having several friends in the church ask for a copy of my plan, I thought we could all do it together in 2025.

So here's how it works:  Each month, I'll post at the top of this page the readings for that month.  Each week (more or less) on Thursdays, Randy and I will post a short video giving "gospel reflections" on the readings we'll be doing.

Feel free to journal any thoughts or questions you have, or maybe spend a little time studying one passage in more detail.  Find out who else is reading and take time to discuss what you're learning.  See if you can notice a pattern of how the Bible books I'm reading tend to make appearances in the sermons and lessons on Sunday.  Maybe you've never read the whole Bible.  Maybe it's been a while since you looked at certain parts.  Maybe you find it hard to stick to a plan you're doing by yourself.  Whatever your situation, taking this opportunity to read through the whole Bible in a year along with your brothers and sisters at TCPC promises to be a blessing to your walk with God.  Read with us!
